The only known home designed by respected architect Roscoe Hemenway on the Oregon coast is for sale at $1.2 million.

In 1937, he hired noted architect Roscoe Hemenway to design a Moderne house in Southwest Portland’s Homestead neighborhood.

Portland-area voters threw an enormous amount of money at the problem. In 2016, they approved a $258.4 million housing bond.
