After struggling with a stagnant offense through much of the first two games, the Knicks enjoyed by far their best ball movement of the series in their 118-116 Game 3 win over the Pistons on Thursday night at Little Caesars Arena. They turned in their most well-rounded game on offense as a result.

Karl-Anthony Towns was terrific and Jalen Brunson delivered in the clutch to help the Knicks hang on for a Game 3 win over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday night.

Outside of Jalen Brunson 's 37 points, which came on 12-of-27 shooting, no other Knicks player was able to surpass 20 points scored. Evidently, New York needs more than 94 points scored, especially considering their identity on that end around Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, to win a playoff game.
