Mets outfielder Juan Soto may have made waves when he left the Yankees for their crosstown rival in Queens this offseason, but he still speaks fondly of his former teammates. In an appearance on NBC Monday morning, Soto was asked about his time playing with Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.

Soto homered in his first plate appearance this spring and hasn’t removed his foot from the accelerator. It’s been the kind of dress rehearsal the Mets might have expected following his arrival in December on a record $765 million contract for 15 years.
