After the old partner that he had left for dead (played by Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, who presented Quan with his own Oscar) re-enters his life, Marvin is thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen and must reckon with the pervasive influence of his volatile crime lord brother, Knuckles (Daniel Wu).

It's movie time, and an Oscar contender is truly, to me, the best movie that we'll talk about this week. We see Ke Huy Quan in a lead role, finally, in "Love Hurts."

A last-ditch return to acting in his late 40s led to a heart-melting role in 2022’s action comedy "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and then — astoundingly — an Oscar win for best supporting actor.
