In Luka Doncic's first game back in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, he was not the only Slovenian to grab attention. Doncic's mom, Mirjam Poterbin, also turned a lot of heads as she attended the game at American Airlines Center to show support for her son.

They brought signs declaring their Mavericks fandom dead and laid flowers near the statue of franchise icon Dirk Nowitzki. A few fans even held a mock funeral, carrying a coffin to the south plaza as Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” played in the background. Three dudes brought a coffin to American Airlines Center. Luka Doncic scored 31 of his 45 points in the first half of his highly anticipated Dallas homecoming as the visiting Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Mavericks 112-97 on Wednesday. Doncic produced his 46th career 40-point game.
