Called the “Plane de Lis,” the new mark is packed full of winks to the city of New Orleans and the airport itself. As the name suggests, it’s meant to evoke both an airplane and a fleur-de-lis—a stark contrast to the former logo, which simply shoehorned a plane into a scene dominated by the iris design.

Avelo Airlines offers ‘Super’ low fares from CT airport to Super Bowl in New Orleans
Avelo Airlines is offering one-way fares out of Tweed New Haven Airport to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, which start as low as $125 for one-way, according to a release. The departure flight is set for Friday, Feb. 7, with a return flight for Monday, Feb. 10, according to Avelo.
