The U.S. Postal Service is offering three stamps to commemorate the 1804-06 Lewis and Clark expedition, with no fewer than 11 cities holding ceremonies to mark the official first day of issue.
Unveiling ceremonies tomorrow at Cape Disappointment in Ilwaco and Fort Clatsop in Astoria, Ore., will mark the release of three new U.S. Postal Service stamps honoring the Lewis and Clark expedition.
