Mack Trucks unveiled an overhaul of the Anthem tractor on June 25, repositioning it as a maneuverable regional-haul specialist in the wake of the recent introduction of a new OTR model.

The next-generation Mack Anthem offers enhanced maneuverability, a 10% fuel efficiency improvement and new driver comfort features targeting regional-haul applications.

Mack said the new Anthem delivers up to 10% improvement in fuel efficiency compared with the previous model, which can translate to about $5,000 in annual fuel savings per truck.
