Allentown plans to spend millions over the next several years to make the city safer to walk, bike and drive in, as officials say that the number of dangerous and fatal crashes citywide is too high.

Allentown City Council voted during a special meeting to adopt a resolution to approve and adopt a plan to make Allentown streets and roadways safer.
