Copper Mountain will be the first U.S. stop to host men's and women's regular season races on the same weekend in 23 years.

Feb. 18, the Stifel U.S. Alpine ski team and Copper Mountain Resort announced that men’s and women’s World Cup Alpine racing will be hosted at Copper for the first time. Taking place

Hosting both the women’s and men’s competitions is a rare opportunity for ski racing fans to witness the world’s top athletes at the same location.

The U.S. will be able to claim another alpine racing World Cup event on home soil in November 2025, when Copper Mountain will host the Stifel Copper Cup.

For the first time in 24 years — and only the fourth time ever — Copper Mountain will host World Cup ski racing.
