North Korea appears to have sent at least 3,000 more soldiers to Russia early this year, South Korea’s military said Thursday, demonstrating Pyongyang’s continued support for Moscow’s war on Ukraine as world leaders push for an end to the three-year conflict.

Top South Korean corporations — including Hyundai Motor Group, Samsung Electronics, and LG Electronics — are considering a return to the Russian market, according to a new report from The Korea Times.

The South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea has also been sending more missiles, artillery equipment and ammunition to help Russia.
