A New Jersey man was arrested after threatening a plane’s crew and a child with a disability, then banging on the cockpit door, while aboard a flight to Newark, according to law enforcement.

A Passaic County man is facing federal charges after allegedly threatening flight attendants, harassing passengers, and attempting to confront the pilot during a flight from Miami to Newark, authorities announced.

The man allegedly got into a verbal altercation with passengers and flight attendants, issuing “threats of violence” against a disabled minor and “mocking a group of Jewish passengers.”
