Following a straight-set loss to Alejandro Tabilo in his opening match at Monte-Carlo, Novak Djokovic addressed concerns over an injury that was speculated after he was seen clutching his right forearm in pain during practice earlier that day.

Luckily, Djokovic has avoided any additional injuries. However, he has had to deal with a lingering eye infection that no doubt is causing frustration for the 24-time Grand Slam champion.

Novak Djokovic has suffered a shock early exit from the Monte-Carlo Masters, losing his opening match to Chile's Alejandro Tabilo in straight sets. The third seed was defeated 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday, looking visibly out-of-sorts throughout the contest.
