All of Rhode Island except Block Island is under a Winter Storm Watch until 4 p.m. Sunday. Cities and towns around Providence got up to X inches of snow Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to NWS totals reported by members of the public and local weather spotters.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Rhode Island is ready for Saturday night's expected snowfall, according to Gov. Dan McKee. McKee said the Rhode Island Department of Transportation will have its crews report for duty well ahead of the storm.

The watch includes portions of northern Connecticut and all of Massachusetts east of the Berkshires, except for Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. "Travel could be very difficult," the storm watch says.
