The way the works of "Shri Mahakal Lok" project were being carried out in Ujjain since last 4 years, they have attained completion today. The first phase of the project has been completed.

Senior officials on condition of anonymity said that state government wanted to inaugurate the second phase of Shri Mahakal Lok, costing around Rs 300 crore, before the model code of conduct set in.

The Mahakal Corridor, officially called the ‘ Shri Mahakal Lok ’ by the Madhya Pradesh government, has come up at the famous Mahakal Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlings in India.
