The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas, honors more than 3,500 service members awarded the nation's highest military decoration.
The museum opened in 2006 and is reportedly the largest collection of Civil War artifacts west of the Mississippi. The museum is owned by North Texas Oilman Ray Richey, the president and curator.
and a space larger than 13,000 square feet to hold all of their artifacts. That includes more than 100 oral interviews, a vast collection of vinyl, and the largest collection of Texas sheet music.
