The Vatican released the Holy Father’s message while the 88-year-old Pontiff continues his convalescence in his Casa Santa Marta home.

Using Rembrandt’s painting “Return of the Prodigal Son” as inspiration, the Holy Father said God’s love is like that of a father who goes out in search of his lost children.
