NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — Trae Young’s playing days aren’t over, he’s just diversifying he’s resume. The Norman native announced on ESPN’s NBA Today that he’s accepted a role as assistant general manager of the OU basketball program. In addition to his new position, Young will donate $1 million dollars to the program.

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Former Sooner stand-out Trae Young is set to become the new assistant GM over the University of Oklahoma men’s basketball team. Young during his time as a Sooner led the nation in scoring (27.4ppg) and assist (8.7apg) during the 2017-2018 season.
