The main event for one of the nights on the "WrestleMania 41" card was made official at the conclusion of "WWE SmackDown."

CM Punk returned to WWE in November 2023. His return is regarded as one of the grandest returns in professional wrestling history, perhaps second to his AEW return after being retired for seven years.
