An ice storm has caused thousands of power outages across northeast Wisconsin late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Wisconsin Public Service and WE Energies reported over 60,000 customers without power as of 8:30 Sunday morning.

Officials with We Energies and the Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) are reporting that there are still over 40,000 customers currently without power following a recent round of storms Saturday night into Sunday morning.

A devastating ice power has led to downed trees and power lines, leaving many people in the northcentral region of the U.S. without power. Outages continue to linger as of the morning of April 1.
