The EXPLORE Act was celebrated by many in the outdoor community, but wilderness advocates had some reservations.
With the EXPLORE Act now law, the issue is moot ... the planning process for new fixed anchors. The alpine club has always supported wilderness, and we support the regulation of fixed anchors.
