Spring has arrived in Clearwater, Florida! Earlier this morning, the Phillies equipment truck - comprised of three 28-foot trailers - completed its 1,058-mile, eight-state journey from Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and made its grand entrance at BayCare Ballpark, the team’s spring training facility.

A few days ago, the Phillies loaded up an equipment truck with, among other things, 2,400 baseballs and 1,200 bats for the 1,060-mile drive to Clearwater, Fla. Here’s something they didn’t need: a program.

Florida sunshine awaits the Philadelphia Phillies, but before pitchers and catchers report to Clearwater, a crew of Phillies employees -- including the Phillies Ballgirls -- back in chilly Philly are packing up a semi-truck with all the gear the Phightins' need to get ready for the 2025 season.
