A never-before-flown SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched a batch of Starlink satellites into orbit today (April 7) from the coast of California.

SpaceX plans another Falcon 9 launch from Cape Canaveral late Saturday night. Twenty-eight Starlink satellites will be placed into low-Earth orbit. The four-hour launch window opens at 11:07 p.m. ET, with backup opportunities available until Sunday, April 6 at 2:40 a.m. ET.
