Two shooters opened fire Saturday night about 8 p.m. at a party in the 14400 block of Des Plaines Street. Seven people were hurt, including a 4-year-old boy. Hours later, a man in a van was shot to death.

Officials believe a deadly shooting early Sunday morning could have happened in retaliation to Saturday's violence.
