Once again, New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge will skip the Home Run Derby this year, he told reporters Thursday. Judge won the Home Run Derby in 2017, his rookie year, and has not participated in it since. "Nope. Same answer," Judge told Newsday when asked about the Home Run Derby on Thursday. "Only if I'm talking about it here [in New York]."

For the past few seasons, MLB fans have been begging Aaron Judge to compete in the Home Run Derby. He hasn't participated in the event since winning it as a rookie in 2017. Judge has become an even better power hitter over the years,

The Home Run Derby may not be in the same amount of peril as the Slam Dunk Contest in terms of superstars refusing to compete. But it will once again be without the biggest slugger in the game this year in New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge.
