Opera singer Paul Potts went on to win the series. "The judges were raving about Paul this year, but didn't remember they had already seen him," a source told The Sun.

Potts won Britain's Got Talent in 2007 and a movie about his rise to fame has been in pre-production for several years, reportedly landing Marley & Me 's David Frankel as a director in 2010.
