After the episode aired, Wood, 31, slammed the sketch as "mean and unfunny" and wrote on Instagram, "I have big gap teeth not bad teeth. I don't mind caricature – I understand that's what 'SNL' is.

Last month, Aimee Lou Wood was supported by fans when she took to her Instagram story to call out a “mean and unfunny” Saturday Night Live skit that parodied her performance on The White Lotus.

Wood, who has spoken before about bullied over her teeth, wrote on her Instagram Stories April 13, "I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny xo." Several fans DMed her to express support.

Wood called the parody "mean" and "unfunny" on social media, positing that "there must be a cleverer, more nuanced" and "less cheap way" to poke fun.
