Campbell connected on a cutter from Yankees starter Ryan Yarbrough in the second inning and hit a ground-ball RBI single to right field to make it 1-0 Boston. He connected on a changeup (outside bottom corner of the strike zone) from Yarbrough in the third inning and hit it to the opposite field again, putting the Red Sox ahead 6-3.

Trevor Story had five RBIs, Garrett Crochet struck out Aaron Judge three times and the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 10-7 to even their weekend series at one game apiece.

The Red Sox have four titles since 2004 and the Yankees one. By that measure, Boston has been the better franchise. But in 2025 the old rivals exist in vastly different worlds.
