DRC has been embroiled in a conflict, with the resurgence of the M23 rebel group bringing renewed attention to Rwandan President Paul Kagame and the M23 movement.

Addressing ambassadors on 16 January, Paul Kagame did not mince his words. “I know leaders when I see them, and I also know idiots when I see them,” he said. “You can [imagine] the combination of both of them, the disaster it is.”
