Sam Reinhart snapped a three-game goal drought and the Florida Panthers beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-2 on Tuesday night.

The Florida Panthers will have to play the rest of Saturday night’s game against the visiting Anaheim Ducks without sniper Sam Reinhart. Reinhart was slapped with a five-minute major and a game misconduct after he caught Ducks forward Isac Lundestrom with a knee-on-knee hit late in the opening 20 minutes of play.

DETROIT (AP) — Cam Talbot stopped 28 shots for his second shutout of the season as the Detroit Red Wings beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 on Saturday night. Marco Kasper redirected J.T. The final NHL game on Wednesday's schedule will pit the defending champion Panthers against the Kings out on the West Coast.

In similar fashion to Saturday’s 3-0 loss to the Panthers, the Ducks faltered in the third period in last night’s result. A goal from Sam Bennett less than a minute into the third took away any momentum that the Ducks had generated during the second period.
