As the Philadelphia 76ers' trying season continues, could it spell the end of head coach Nick Nurse's run with the team? Health concerns with 76ers All-Star Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey have added to the issues plaguing Philadephia from emerging into playoff contention.

Maxey (back) is believed to have avoided a significant injury after exiting Monday's game against the Trail Blazers, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Head coach Nick Nurse stated after the game that Maxey was examined by two doctors and that the point guard appears to have avoided a serious injury.

"That’s what my job is here," Maxey said, "not just to be the best possible player that I can possibly be, but to be the best person for everybody in this locker room, the entire organization."

Coach Nick Nurse gives a lot of praise to Quentin Grimes as the Philadelphia 76ers move forward with their season.
