After Axel Rudakubana was charged with the murder of three girls and the attempted murder of 10 others at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in England, the now-18-year-old has pleaded guilty.

The British teenager who stabbed three little girls to death at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class pleaded guilty to all charges Monday. Axel Rudakubana, 18, was in court for what was scheduled to be the start of his trial on three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder.

The July 29 stabbings sent shock waves across the U.K. and led to a week of widespread rioting across parts of England and Northern Ireland.
