People in areas under mandatory evacuation orders face an "immediate threat to life" and must leave immediately.
On Tuesday, Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District's (SMMUSD) four Malibu schools closed due to red flag warnings and power shutoffs in the area. The ongoing Santa Ana winds prompted the closures. This included Webster Elementary, Malibu Elementary, Malibu Middle School and Malibu High School.

Mandatory evacuation orders are still in place. As of 11 a.m. local time Monday, all areas under evacuation orders and warnings are placed on a curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. local time, according to Cal Fire.
Evacuation orders were downgraded to warnings in La Cañada Flintridge: There's a 6 p.m. - 6 a.m. curfew in place for all areas under mandatory evacuation orders and evacuation warnings because of the Eaton Fire, within the Altadena area. There is no curfew in evacuation zones located in the city of Pasadena.
