Ancient Roman helmet turns up in unusual location: 'Exceptionally rare'Danish archaeologists recently announced the discovery during an excavation of a variety of weapons and armor dating to the Iron Age and ancient Rome.
Vejle Museums announced the discovery of numerous ancient artifacts, including the Roman armor, in a press release published Jan. 29. The excavation took place in the town of Løsning in the fall.
