Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer, has predicted some of the Premier League fixtures to be played this weekend. It was a mixed week for some of the English clubs in Europe, but they will be looking to finish the domestic campaign well.

It was a mixed week for our teams in Europe but it’s back to Premier League action for the next couple of days at least. Arsenal will still be on a high after thrashing Real Madrid on Tuesday and it will be interesting to see what sort of team Mikel Arteta puts out against Brentford.

Alan Shearer couldn’t help but laugh after Newcastle United ‘battered’ Manchester United 4-1 at St James’ Park. Sandro Tonali’s volley from Alexander Isak’s flicked pass handed the Magpies the lead in the 24th minute.
