A spin-off and prequel to The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, is the creation of Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro and features Iain Armitage in the titular role of the younger version of Sheldon.

Iain Armitage, known for playing a younger Sheldon Cooper in Young Sheldon, is pursuing other interests after The Big Bang Theory spin-off came to an end in May 2024.
