The CTA says bus schedules will return to prepandemic levels during the last full week of 2024, marking the fulfillment of the agency’s plan to restore service by the end of the year.

Since the early 1980s, the CTA has hosted a competition to find the city’s best bus driver. Over the years, it’s expanded to include competitions in mechanical and janitorial categories.

The bus will travel multiple CTA bus routes throughout the city between late Nov. 26 and Dec. 21 as part of regular service. You can track the CTA holiday bus using the holiday bus tracker here.
