Band founder Mark Mohr, a former drug addict and marijuana grower who now promotes Christianity through the Jamaican sound, will bring his group to Calvary Chapel Victorville on Aug. 23.

Calvary Chapel Victorville and the Victor Valley Rescue Mission will kick off the season by hosting an Easter Event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 12, at the church, 15081 Center St. in Victorville.
