Though pool and ping pong may be nothing more than leisurely table games for some, these two activities helped me form countless caring relationships during my first weeks of college.

On weekends, getting a game of Ping-Pong at Cue Bar can mean showing up early and putting your name on a list. The going rate is $10 an hour on Friday and Saturday, which includes paddles and balls.

Today, the bright and open office features a cafe with a pool table, ping pong table, darts, a 72-inch flat-screen television with cable, and a beer tap with a frosted mug freezer.
