The board approved a 2025-26 Wisconsin deer hunting season with a statewide kill quota of 291,385 antlerless deer, up 7% from the previous season, and 260,715 bonus antlerless permits, up 5%.

Under the changes, deer management units in the northern forest region are identified with a number between 101 and 126 while those in the central forest region are from 201 and 206.
