Temperatures in Denver are expected to plateau at 30 degrees — a drop of more than 40 degrees from Thursday — before falling overnight.

Friday and Saturday are First Alert Weather Days for snow and cold moving in. The snow arrives in Colorado before the Easter weekend. A Canadian cold front and a cut-off low moving in from the west will team up overnight Thursday into Friday bringing in a dramatic change.

It is spring, but Colorado is not quite done with winter weather yet. Temperatures will tumble overnight Thursday as snow returns to the region and continues throughout the day for metro Denver.
