Philadelphia is bringing in former Bowling Green head coach Scot Loeffler as their new quarterbacks coach, tasking him with maintaining Jalen Hurts’ championship-caliber play.

For Hurts, Loeffler will become his fourth QB coach in five seasons. Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said this week at the NFL scouting combine that he wanted a QB coach who could bring "new thoughts, new schemes, new ideas to the table."

The college coach is replacing Doug Nussmeier, who recently left the Eagles to join former Philadelphia offensive coordinator Kellen Moore's staff on the New Orleans Saints. Loeffler will be coach Nick Sirianni's fourth quarterbacks coach during his tenure in Philadelphia.
