PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — A demonstration against immigration enforcement on Monday drew a large crowd to Providence. NBC 10's John Perik spoke with officials at an anti-ICE rally in Providence.
The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition, officials said. Providence police said the operator of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
Lev Poplow, an organizer for one of the "No Kings Day" events planned in Rhode Island, said he believes the demonstration at Providence's India Point Park will draw between 3,000 and 5,000 people.
