June, storms and extreme heat are both players this weekend, but one region won't see temperatures that bring a pool or beach trip to mind.

High pressure will provide mainly quiet weather until at least Thursday evening before a cold front moves into Northeast Ohio and ushers in unsettled weather for Father’s Day weekend.
The pattern starts to shift Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth with a high of 91 degrees, an almost 10 degrees jump from Thursday. The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office also forecast that the humidity will make it feel even hotter, with a projected “feels like” temperature up to 100.
On Sunday, Father’s Day brought dry weather to the area. While the day started off cloudy, sunshine broke out through the afternoon and evening, with heavy rain staying just south of the Valley. The official high today reached 78°F.
