LAWRENCE, Ind. — A man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning on Vernon Avenue, near 46th Street and Franklin Road.

Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning shooting in Lawrence. Police were dispatched before 3:30 a.m. to a reported shooting in the 4500 block of Vernon Avenue.

Police found a man shot dead at a home in Lawrence early Wednesday morning. The man’s name and age have not been released.

LPD urges anyone with information on the shooting to anonymously call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS.
