The Los Angeles Rams were aggressive on Day 2 of the scouting combine workouts, first agreeing to retain quarterback Matthew Stafford, and then retaining another Super Bowl champion in left tackle Alaric Jackson to protect him.

However, cooler heads prevailed and the two sides agreed on a restructured contract to keep Stafford satisfied and with Los Angeles in 2025 as the team announced the two-time Pro Bowler is back.

"The Rams sit squarely in the middle of the league in terms of projected cap space, with $38.3 million, so they won’t necessarily be desperate to make cuts, but if they are looking for value moves, cornerback Darious Williams could be a consideration for release (coincidentally, right around his 32nd birthday, on March 15)," Okada said.
