Secretary of State Marco Rubio broke with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on Friday in an extraordinary attack on the White House, which has stalled in its peace talks to end the war in Ukraine.

Peter Marocco, who has played a significant role in the dismantling of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for several months, was abruptly fired from the Trump administration last week.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is saying that the U.S. is ready to “move on” from peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, if there is no clear progress in the coming days, telling reporters, "We’re not going to continue with this endeavor for weeks and months on end.
