Drivers in southwest Sydney this week may have spotted the bright white safety warnings splashed across the bitumen in known koala hotspots on a 10km stretch of the notorious Appin Road.

More than 130 casual lease agreements at four holiday park sites on the NSW north coast have been terminated. Holiday van residents in Iluka, Minnie Water, Brooms Head, and Wooli are affected.
