The National Weather Service is forecasting mainly a light coating across southeastern Massachusetts Thursday. The most snow from Thursday's system will fall over Nantucket, which is expected to get three to four inches of accumulation, according to NWS. Cape Cod could see two to three inches of snowfall on Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service's Boston office, Cape Cod, the South Shore and South Coast will likely get some light accumulation from the system. NWS Boston also issued a winter weather advisory for today on Nantucket, which is expected to get the most snow.
