Samsung’s Galaxy S-series is in its software era. Maybe the whole smartphone industry is, too, save for a few phones with hinges (Samsung’s included). But overall, we have exited the hardware-driven innovation cycle and are firmly in the midst of a software-based one.

We've spent the week testing the Samsung Galaxy S25, and while the flagship Android hasn't changed much, it's still very impressive.

The Galaxy S25 shares the same design, specs, and cameras as the larger S25+ (starting at $999.99). Measuring 5.78 by 2.78 by 0.28 inches (HWD) and 5.71 ounces, the S25 is just slightly smaller than last year's S24 (5.
